About us and how we can help

The charity Carnegie UK Trust works to improve the lives of people throughout the UK and Ireland, by changing minds through influencing policy, and by changing lives through innovative practice and partnership work.

Our Strategic Plan (2016-2020) takes a holistic approach to wellbeing and outlines our work as focusing on:

• ‘Enabling Wellbeing’; ​

• ‘Flourishing Towns’; ​

• ‘Fulfilling Work’; and ​

• ‘Digital Futures’.

The Trust can support the towns with below challenges:

• Opportunities for connecting with their counterparts in other towns, to share learning and best practice;

• Bringing citizens together to develop a shared narrative and future aspirations for their town;

• Measuring and developing holistic policy across the domains of economic, social, environmental and democratic well being;

• Connections to third and community sector experts and advocates, such as development trusts and the Relationships Project.
