Description:
The workshop will cover the following:
Understanding project proformas – What does a good project outline look like?
Understanding how to present and align interventions to provide a compelling rationale is key to the TIP. The purpose of this support is to help Towns think through how best to present the key metrics and what type of information is required to assess and understand the interventions in TIP part 2. This will also involve discussions around alignment to the framework and how best to demonstrate linkage to current opportunities or provide additionality. This will allow Towns to prepare a TIP which demonstrates consideration of the preferred options and consider a suite of scenarios as part of their internal thinking.
Understanding intervention finances
A key part of TIP part 2 is understanding project funding. Based on current experience with the ‘check and challenge’ this section is often left sparse. The purpose of this part of the workshop would be to discuss co-funding and match funding, articulate terms and conditions, limitations and how to present back the findings. It would then further breakdown how to analyze and provide an accurate funding profile and how to present back the current progress on funding strategy.
